CPI expresses its solidarity with the people of Greece particularly the trade
unions for organising such a massive strike under the slogan “their profits or
our lives” to mark February 28 since the crime of Tempe, the train crash that
killed 57 people majority of them were young students.
CPI expects that the Greek government will take the responsibility of taking
stringent action against the culprits and will ensure the safety of the people.
The Greek government should accept the just demands of the people.
