The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India has expressed its deep condolences and paid tributes to freedom fighter Com. Prema Purav.
She played a leading role in her freedom movement. Indian freedom movement and in struggle for formation of Maharashtra State.
She was a great organiser and formed an organisation called ‘Annapurna’ which has organised ‘unorganised women and self-employed women’ in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune.
She passed away in Pune on 2nd July, 2024. It is a great loss to the party and people’s movement and country.
